Sonon 500L Ultrasound: Clinics That Scan Before They Inject
These clinics have a Sonon 500L wireless handheld ultrasound probe, made by Healcerion, used to check old filler and map blood vessels before injecting.
To be clear about what this is: this is confirmed equipment presence supplied by Elogio, the device's Malaysian distributor, accurate as of 4 August 2026. It is not the same thing as BookAClinic clinic verification.
The Sonon 500L is handheld and wireless, so it travels with the doctor. Message us on WhatsApp first and we will help you check which branch has it on the day.

Why scanning first matters
Old filler is often still there
Filler can show up on a scan years after it was injected, even when you were told it would have fully dissolved by now.
It does not always stay put
Filler can sit at a different depth or position from where it was placed. That matters most around the under-eye, temples and nose.
Vessels differ person to person
Facial arteries do not run in the same place in everybody. Seeing them before a needle goes in is a safety step, not a luxury.
What to ask before you book
- Will you scan me before you inject, or only if there is a problem afterwards?
- Can I see the scan while you are doing it, and will you talk me through what you are seeing?
- If you find old filler, what changes about the plan?
- Who is operating the probe, and what is their training on it?
- Is the machine at this branch today?
What this list is not
Having the device on site is one useful signal. It is not a licence check, not a doctor check, and not a product authenticity check. Those are separate checks BookAClinic runs, and a clinic can appear here without having passed them. Use this list as a starting point for better questions, not as a stamp of approval.
Good questions, honest answers
Is this the same as a BookAClinic verified clinic?+
No. This list only confirms that the clinic has a Sonon 500L ultrasound probe on site, based on the distributor's records. BookAClinic verification is a separate set of checks covering licensing, doctors and product authenticity.
Does every branch of these clinics have the machine?+
Not always. These probes are wireless and handheld, so they move between branches and sometimes between doctors. Message us before you book and we will help you confirm which branch has it that day.
Does scanning guarantee a safe filler treatment?+
No. Ultrasound gives the doctor more information before injecting, which reduces guesswork. Safety still depends on the doctor's training, the product used, and how the treatment is planned.
Where does this list come from?+
The equipment list was supplied by Elogio, the Malaysian distributor of the Sonon 500L, and is accurate as of 4 August 2026. We publish it as supplied and do not add clinics ourselves.
Is this free to use?+
Yes. The locator is a free public tool. We never charge patients to search or to book.
Check the branch before you go
Tell us the clinic you have in mind and we will help you confirm whether the Sonon 500L is there on the day of your appointment.
