Why does authenticity matter for aesthetic products?+
Counterfeit or refilled vials and machines are documented in Malaysia. They can be ineffective, unsafe, or use unregulated ingredients. Verified origin is your baseline for a real result and real safety.
How do you verify a clinic's products?+
We cross-check distributor records (e.g. Merz for Ultherapy, Galderma for Sculptra), inspect serial numbers, and require NPRA MAL numbers or MDA device registration where applicable. We also run periodic spot checks.
Is the locator free for patients?+
Yes. It is a free public tool. We do not charge patients to search or to book.
Which product locators are live?+
Ultherapy, Sculptra and Sonon 500L are live today. Every other product on this page is marked Not Available Yet, which means we do not yet hold the official records needed to verify clinics. Request a locator above and we will notify you when it opens.
What does “Not Available Yet” mean?+
It means BookAClinic does not yet have the official records needed to verify participating clinics. It does not mean the product itself is unavailable in Malaysia.
How can a brand activate its locator?+
The brand owner or Malaysian distributor can provide its official clinic list, product-authentication method and applicable regulatory records. BookAClinic reviews the information before any clinic is shown as verified.
