Before Another Rejuran Session: How to Review Your First Result
A review appointment is a chance to check what changed against what you and your doctor agreed to look for. Waiting, stopping, changing approach and repeating are all reasonable outcomes.

Key points
- Check four things: the exact product used, the concern it was for, photos taken the same way before and after, and the review date your doctor set.
- Rejuran is a brand with several products (for example Healer, I and S). Evidence for one product, area or concern does not carry over to another.
- There is no published universal timeline for when a Rejuran result should appear, and no study that sets a session count for everyone.
- You can wait, stop, change approach or repeat. Choose the one that fits what you actually see and what it is worth to you.
The four things to check
| Check | What to confirm | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Exact product and amount | The product name on your record (for example Rejuran Healer, Rejuran I or Rejuran S), the amount in ml and the areas treated. | These are different products used for different concerns. A result or claim for one does not apply to another, and other polynucleotide or PDRN products are different again. |
| Your original concern | The concern written down before treatment, such as texture, fine lines or acne marks, in your own words. | You can only judge a result against what it was meant to change. |
| Matched baseline photos | Before and after photos in the same light, distance, angle and expression, with no filters, and dated. | Different lighting or angles can look like a change when there is none, or hide one that is real. |
| Agreed review time | The review date your doctor set for your product and concern, and what they said they would look for then. | Judging too early or against someone else's timeline can lead to repeating, or stopping, for the wrong reason. |
Why evidence for one product or area may not apply to you
Rejuran research, where it exists, covers specific products, areas and people. A result reported for fine lines is not evidence for acne scars, and a result for one Rejuran product or another polynucleotide or PDRN product is not evidence for a different one. None of this sets a universal timeline. The manufacturer's instructions list little or no effect as a possible outcome; they do not say how often this happens. An unclear result is worth discussing at review.
If a clinic shows you evidence, ask which exact product, which area and concern, how many people, how the result was measured and when, and whether the study is still current and has not been withdrawn.
Your four options
| Option | When it can make sense | Ask your doctor |
|---|---|---|
| Wait | It is earlier than the review date you agreed, or the change is unclear. | When should we look again, and what would we compare? |
| Stop | You have the change you wanted, or you do not think any change is worth the cost or discomfort. | Is there anything I should watch for after stopping? |
| Change approach | The concern has not moved, or a different concern now matters more. | Is a different product or treatment better suited, and why? |
| Repeat | You and your doctor can both see a change you value, and a repeat has a clear reason. | What would another session aim to add, what does it cost, and how would we judge it? |
Keep a simple record
- Save your treatment details
Product name, amount, areas, date, doctor and aftercare.
- Take matched photos
Same light, distance and angle each time, only if you are comfortable doing so.
- Write down what you notice
Short dated notes on what changed and what did not.
- Decide without pressure
Take the plan home, ask questions, or get a second opinion.
Frequently asked questions
How many Rejuran sessions do I need?
There is no universal number. Ask your doctor why they suggest a particular plan for your product and concern, and how you will judge whether each session helped.
When should I judge my result?
At the review time your doctor set for your product and concern. Another patient's timeline or an advert is not a reliable guide.
Does Rejuran evidence for wrinkles apply to acne scars?
No. Evidence for one area and concern does not show what will happen for another.
Can I say no to another session?
Yes. Stopping or waiting are normal choices.
